In 1975 Robert "Bob" Rutman (born 15 May 1931) disbanded his first group Central Maine Power Music Company and started the US Steel Cello Ensemble in Cambridge, MA. The Ensemble toured the US and Europe.
In 1989 Rutman relocated to Berlin, where he was born. In April 2019, after a 20-year hiatus, the original line-up reunited to perform several concerts in Germany. Bob passed in Berlin in 2021. ... more
